לומדי כאן: will קל כי הוא אף פעם לא משתנה. בלי s לגוף שלישי, בלי to אחריו, ואחריו הפועל הרגיל.
Will + verb: תוכניות וכוונות
בעתיד משתמשים ב-will ואחריו פועל בצורת בסיס, בלי to ובלי שינוי לפי הנושא. דוגמאות: Dan will send the invitations to the party tomorrow. Sandra will organize the music and Anat will bring the food. He'll come to the party and have fun. אפשר לקצר: I'll, you'll, he'll, we'll, they'll.
שלילה: will not / won't
בשלילה כותבים will not או בקיצור won't. דוגמה: The newspaper reporter began writing an interesting news report. However, he won't publish his story tomorrow. הפועל שאחרי won't ממשיך להיות בצורת בסיס: publish.
שאלות כן/לא ושאלות wh
בשאלת כן/לא מעבירים will לפני הנושא: Will you stay for two or three days? Will you swim in the Dead Sea? Will you bring me some sea salt? גם בתשובה אפשר לשאול שאלה חזרה, כמו אמא של הדוגמה: Will you look after the children while I'm away? בשאלת wh מוסיפים מילת שאלה לפני will: Who will help with the preparations? Who will attend the celebration? גם: What will Ben do?
חיזויים: predictions
will משמש גם כדי לחזות מה יקרה או לא יקרה בעתיד, בחיובי ובשלילי. דוגמה על שינויי האקלים: Scientists believe there will be many global changes: temperatures will rise by three to four degrees. People won't have access to fresh water. Countries will have to work together to solve the problems. כאן אין תוכנית של מישהו, אלא תחזית על העתיד.
will בשיחה
שאלות עם will משמשות כדי לשאול על תוכניות וכוונות או לבקש אישור, ותשובות קצרות חוזרות על will: Yes, I will. / No, I won't. בתוכנית הלימודים יש דוגמה שבה אב שואל Will you swim in the Dead Sea? ואמא עונה בשאלות משלה, כמו Will you keep the house clean? שימו לב שבכל השאלות הנושא בא אחרי will, והפועל אחריו בצורת בסיס, בלי to ובלי s. טיפ לתרגול: כדי לבדוק משפט עם will, מחפשים שלושה דברים. הראשון: אחרי will יש פועל בצורת בסיס, בלי s ובלי to. השני: בשלילה יש won't או will not. השלישי: בשאלה will נמצא לפני הנושא. אם כל השלושה נכונים, המשפט נכון, בין אם הוא תוכנית (Dan will send the invitations), ובין אם הוא חיזוי (temperatures will rise).

- חיזוי חיובי: temperatures will rise.
- חיזוי שלילי: people won't have fresh water.
- בשני המשפטים הפועל אחרי will / won't הוא בצורת בסיס.

Make a negative sentence and a question from: Anat will bring the food.
- שלילה: Anat will not bring the food, או בקיצור Anat won't bring the food.

- תשובה קצרה לשאלה: No, she won't.
