Superlative: הכי

superlative אומר שמשהו נמצא בדרגה הגבוהה ביותר של תכונה. התוכנית מגדירה שני מבנים, ושניהם נדרשים בכל שלוש הרמות: 3, 4 ו-5 יח"ל. הראשון משתמש ב-the most עם שמות תואר ארוכים. השני משתמש ב-the best עם משפט ב-present perfect.

the most + adjective + noun

המבנה: the + most + שם תואר + שם עצם. התוכנית מציינת שמדובר בשמות תואר של שתי הברות או יותר. מהתוכנית: Joan is the most ambitious person I know. Israeli scientists have received the most prestigious prizes. עוד דוגמאות: This is the most interesting book in the library. He is the most careful driver in our family. ambitious, prestigious, interesting ו-careful הם שמות תואר ארוכים, ולכן מוסיפים most.

the best (that) + present perfect

כדי לומר "הכי טוב שחוויתי", משתמשים ב-the best ואחריו משפט עם present perfect: I've ever + צורת הפועל השלישית. מהתוכנית: The party celebrating my win in the competition was the best party I've ever had. טעויות נפוצות עם superlatives
