לומדי כאן: Present perfect הוא הזמן שמחבר עבר להווה. אם אתם שואלים את עצמכם מתי בדיוק זה קרה והתשובה לא חשובה, כנראה אתם צריכים אותו.

הצורה ומה היא מספרת על העבר

Present perfect simple בנוי מ-have או has ואחריו הצורה השלישית של הפועל (visited, heard, seen). בשלילה מוסיפים not: has not, have not. התוכנית מציגה אותו כדרך לדבר על העבר כשחשוב הקשר להווה: חוויה, משך זמן, או אירוע שנגמר זה עתה. בחיוב ובשלילה. דוגמה: One of the leading bloggers is Muhammed, who has visited more than 100 countries in the past three years. לא אומרים מתי בדיוק ביקר בכל מדינה. מה שחשוב הוא שיש לו עכשיו ניסיון.

since ו-for, ומצבים שלא נגמרו

כדי להגיד כמה זמן נמשכת חוויה, משתמשים ב-since ו-for. since אומרת מאיזו נקודה בזמן, for אומרת כמה זמן. דוגמה: Tom has volunteered at the Magen David since last November. He has been a volunteer for six months. אפשר גם לדבר על מצב או אירוע שנמשכים בלי גבול זמן ברור: The World Health Organization has called for the cooperation of all nations to prevent this. הצורה זהה בחיוב ובשלילה: He hasn't volunteered since March.

just ו-ever

לאירוע שנגמר ממש עכשיו, ויש לו חשיבות להווה, מוסיפים לרוב את just: We've just heard that it's updating its search engine. וכדי לספר על חוויה יוצאת דופן, משתמשים ב-Present perfect עם superlative ולרוב עם ever: It gives you the most amazing view you've ever seen. It also has a restaurant with the most delicious fish I've ever tasted. ever בא אחרי have ולפני הפועל.

שאלות

שאלת yes/no: have או has, נושא, הצורה השלישית של הפועל. דוגמה: Have the explorers solved the mystery of the lost island? ואפשר לענות Yes, they have או No, they haven't. שאלת Wh: מילת שאלה, have/has, נושא, הצורה השלישית. דוגמאות מהתוכנית: What have recent statistics shown about population growth? How have different countries addressed the problem? כאן has מתאים לנושא ביחיד: What has she done?

טעויות נפוצות ואיך בודקים

טעות ראשונה: לשלב Present perfect עם זמן מדויק בעבר, כמו I have visited Rome yesterday. אם יש זמן מדויק, משתמשים ב-Past simple, וה-Present perfect מתאים כשהזמן לא חשוב. טעות שנייה: להחליף between since ל-for. בודקים: אם אחרי המילה בא תאריך או נקודה בזמן (2019, Monday, last November), זה since. אם בא משך (six months, three years), זה for. טעות שלישית: לשכוח שאחרי have/has בא הפועל בצורה השלישית, ולא בצורה הבסיסית. לפני שכותבים שאלה, בודקים שהסדר הוא have/has, נושא, פועל, ושמילת השאלה בראש המשפט. כל הסעיפים האלה נדרשים בשלוש הרמות, 3, 4 ו-5 יח"ל.

Complete: This is the best pizza I ___ (ever / eat). Use the Present perfect.

  2. eat הוא irregular, והצורה השלישית היא eaten.
  3. ever בא בין have לפועל.
